Alex Zapata (Born Nov 21, 1987) is a film and music video director from the Dominican Republic. He began his filmmaking career working as a freelancer producing music videos for local bands and artists in New York City. He has worked in many short films such as “The Lounge”, “Cat & Mouse” and “Friends Till The End”. He has also worked on the feature film “The Wheeler Boy” as 1st Assistant Director. His film director credits include the short film “Flinch”, which he also wrote. 

Alex Zapata is best known for directing music videos. He is the Chairman & CEO of Nova Era Entertainment. Alex Zapata together with his business partner Cesar Perez and a small team of talented individuals work together as independent filmmakers producing original short films.
